DOTS OF OUR LIFE . . .

We are an aftereffect of our thoughts, but we seldom realize this fact.
Living in the turbulence of a digital era, everything is changing in a fast pace. But we are reluctant to Change, though we know it is inevitable.  It is not because we are incompetent or incapable of what the world demands, but afraid of “failures” .  The failures that can make us broke, take us away from our comfort zones, feel miserable, so on and so forth.  Those thoughts are making us reluctant to change and pursue us to settle.
People, bad experiences and previous failures - all can influence our thoughts & in-turn our actions. Despite what our gut feeling insists, we end up weighing all the options and choose to settle up for the most comfortable one- Low Risk and High Profit.

Eckhart says, “All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present.”
Stress, anxiety, fear are all caused by too much future and not enough presence.  Anger, grief, regret, guilt, resentment and all other forms of non forgiveness are caused by too much past and not enough presence.
Focus on the present. Let us neither be swept away by thoughts about our past nor by the anxiety about our future.

Desire is the starting point of all achievements. Every desire that you hold will be for only one reason- that you will feel better by accomplishing it; the heart of every desire is the desire to feel good. Like a small fire brings you small amount of heat a weak desire brings you weak results, so dream big

Richard Carlson says, “Life is like an automobile which is driven inside out and not the other way.   Focus on finding peacefulness in where you are now, rather than focusing on where you would rather be.
It is so true; when I was in school I was thinking about how I would make it to college. In college I was anxious about finding a job, rather than studying and enjoying those beautiful days. When I got a job I was looking for something else.
I am a Victim of late realization (sometimes we all are).”
Now my past is pounding on me with a feel of repentance. At least I could realize it now, there are so many out there who still couldn’t find why there is no peace in their life.
If you have played the game of connecting dots, you would know it. Sometimes we can foresee what picture we would draw by connecting those dots, sometimes we could only visualize it at the last dot.
Every day resembles those dots. We wouldn’t be able to predict how the next day would turn up. So free our minds from the shackles of the anxiety about the future and focus on this moment.

“Fall in love, listen to music, read books, spend time in the laps of nature, love your family, go for a morning walk, enjoy the work, embrace yourself and be grateful to GOD for this beautiful life. ”

When you climb the ladders of success, remember this beautiful phrase of C.S. Lewis

“True humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less”
